“Women Can Do” project helps 100,000 women start businesses.

The Vietnam Women's Union has collaborated with Trung Nguyen International Company (King Coffee) to organize the launch of the 'Women Can Do' project. This strategic initiative aims to accompany and support women in entrepreneurship within the framework of the National Project 939 'Supporting Women's Entrepreneurship for the 2017-2025 period', which was approved by the Prime Minister on June 30, 2017.

Through this project, the Vietnam Women's Union and the King Coffee brand aspire to enhance the quality of life for at least 100,000 women across various regions. This initiative aims to provide opportunities for women to start their own businesses with various models, starting with a capital as low as 5 million Vietnamese dong.

By leveraging the achievements of the 4.0 technology era, the project intends to empower women in business, increase their income, enhance financial management skills, engage in community activities to develop communication skills, and contribute to elevating the position of women in both family and society.

With a strategic emphasis on innovation and differentiation based on an ecosystem business model, the 'Women Can Do' project targets key objectives: building a community of women entrepreneurs by becoming members in the F&B supply chain; guiding and supporting 100,000 women in business to create stable income sources, improve family livelihoods, and share knowledge to boost women's confidence in entrepreneurship, financial independence, and self-determination through the 'Women Can Do' ecosystem.

Ms. Do Thi Phuong Thao, Vice President of the Vietnam Women's Union, affirmed that implementing this project significantly contributes to the effective implementation of the National Project 939, enhancing women's awareness of entrepreneurship, fostering the realization of business ideas, and contributing to the national goals of enterprise development and gender equality strategies.
